I cannot recommend Alan's cottage highly enough. From the thoughtfully-restored yet rustic charm of the cottage, to the absolute luxury of the beds, every aspect of the accommodation has been considered. I particularly enjoyed the more personal items of décor about the cottage, giving you a slight insight into the owner. The location is perfect. Both Aberdeen and the Cairngorms are easily accessible, giving you the best of country and city. The views are incredible and you will see plenty of feathered and furred visitors in the garden. We spent a memorable evening stargazing in the garden as there is so little light pollution. It is the perfect escape for a couple or small family, and we very much hope to visit again. Thanks Alan!
