Rose Cottage Glenbuchat

Glenbuchat - a peaceful glen on the eastern side of the Cairngorms National Park that has an interesting history and its own character.

The glen itself is small - only about 7 miles in length from the point where the Water of Bucket flows into the River Don. Its sides are bounded by hills that on the south reach 2000ft and on the north 2240 ft. The entrance to the glen is guarded by the picturesque ruined Glenbuchat Castle (built in 1590). It was the former seat of the Gordons of Glenbuchat (or Glenbucket).

Rose cottage is mid way up at Belnacraig on a private road with good views and a woodland garden to enjoy.

We hope you can enjoy a peaceful holiday
